Handley Barns Babe

'Babe', as she is affectionately known, has been with us since she was a foal at foot, almost twelve years ago.

She has consistently bred fantastic foals, the first of which being who stands with us today.

Babe is a graded mare with Sports Horse Breeding (Great Britain) and is currently in foal to Utah Van Erpekom, due end April 2008. Update .... another healthy colt foal born on the evening of 22nd April.

She is pictured above as a yearling herself and with only ten hours old.

Pictured below are with this year's foal at one day old which we have named Shinglehall Boris and at 4 weeks old.
